Hotel California

“On a dark desert highway…cool wind in my hair.”
After returning from my dream like gig at The Whisky A Go Go in LA I can truly grasp the real meaning behind this Eagles classic. Don Henley: “Hotel California is a song about the dark underbelly of the American dream and the excess in America. We drove into LA that night none from California & the glow on the horizon of lights in Hollywood & all the dreams that you have that’s what we started writing this song about.”
