In Fond Memory Of My Old Friend Mike Meyer. This little song is for all who loved him. Mike was the first underclassman ever to look up to me when I was a young gymnast. I quietly took great pride and care in that. I always made sure to not let him down when he was in my presence as his eyes would light up when I would help him. I would always be sure to work extra hard for him as he studied my every move. He was so impressionable and such a great young talent on my team and grew to become a fine coach. He will be missed by many and not forgotten. Here is a song for Mike…

Before the rooster crows
Or a dew drop grows
Before the hoot of an owl
Or hear the wolfs howl
the sun …the sun goes ….
The fire burns bright
‘fore the flame goes out
The first star of the night
Signals the ships flight
The flame never really goes out
When the sun goes down X3
The birth of a child
A lion kills in the wild
turn the page
Another polar cap breaks
But first the sun…the sun must go down
When the sun goes down X3
Some live their lives in pain
for them to die is Gain
Their fire never dies
Cause we carry the flame
But For morning to rise …the sun …the sun must go down
YES the sun must go down
When the sun goes down
When the sun goes down
Then the rooster crows
Philippians 1:21
For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain
